After our first event with a booth we were invited to the Mistletoe Market hosted by the Women’s Club of Hendersonville. The girls and I set up our booth and sold their crafts. We partnered with a friend to raise money for the Sumner County YMCA Learn to Swim Initiative. We are supporters of this great outreach not only because we live in a lake community but also because we love to swim! We don’t want anyone to be afraid of the water. This program brings first graders from local schools into the YMCA to learn water safety and swimming. The girls decided to give 30% of their sales that day! We had a great day and because they had already made back their investment everything they made was profit – after the 30% and 10% savings. They still did pretty good!
